Novice B/Novice Playoff Format

Enmax Novice B Playoff Rules

Round Robin Game structure
5 Minute warm up, 2 - 25 minutes running time periods

The top 4 teams will play for the League Championship
Bottom 3 teams (Novice B), Bottom 4 teams (Novice) will be eliminated.

Semi-Final/Final Game structure
5 Minute Warm up, 1 - 25 Minute running time period, 1 - 25 minute stop time Period.

Semi-Final and Championship game
Tie at the end of regulation will result in 5 min OT

5 Minutes 5 on 5 Instant Victory Overtime
If still tied: 3 player Shoot-Out
If still tied: Instant Victory Shoot-Out
(players may not shoot a second time, until all players have gone)
The home team will shoot first and teams will alternate thereafter
Any Player serving a penalty when Overtime expires will not be eligible to shoot in the shoot out

Round Robin games will end with a tie, if teams are tied at the end of regulation time.

A Tie in standings after round robin will be broken according to the Hockey Alberta Rule Book

Referees will be provided by RDMH

Reminder: Players are limited to 3 goals per game and Fair Play is expected at all times

As a courtesy, please stop the clock if a player is on the ice injured for what appears will extended period
