Background Check Info

If you are interested in volunteering as a Coach, Manager or Treasurer a background check is required at the office before October 15th.

1. RDMH Background Check Requirement:

   • A valid Vulnerable Sector Check is required for the position of Coach or Manager.
   • A valid Criminal Record Check is required for Treasurers.
   • The background check must be less than 3 years old and should not expire during the season.

2. Deadline and Submission:

   • The deadline to have the Background check into the RDMH is October 15th.
   • Full legal name and division of player should be sent to Jackie@reddeerminorhockey.com, to receive a volunteer letter.

3. Application Process:

   • Please apply for your background check by clicking here.
   • You will be required to attach the volunteer letter to have your fee reduced.

4. Submission and Pickup:

   • After completing the background check application online, you will pick up your background check.
   • Please drop off the background check to the office, 4725 43 St.

5. Disclosure in Case of Non-Negative Results:

   • If the background check returns with any non-negative findings, the individual will need to include a letter of disclosure, which you request at the RCMP office
