If you are interested in volunteering as a Coach, Manager or Treasurer a background check is required at the office before October 15th.

RDMH Background Check Requirement:
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Check is required for the position of Coach or Assistant Coach.
- A valid Criminal Record Check is required for Managers and Treasurers.
- The background check must be less than 3 years old and should not expire during the season.

Deadline:
- The deadline to have the Background check or your application receipt submitted to RDMH is October 15th.
- If you haven't received your check yet, you will need to send the receipt that it was submitted to jackie@reddeerminorhockey.com to continue helping.

Application Process:

- Please apply for your background check by clicking here.
- You will be required to attach your volunteer letter provided by Jackie, to have your fee reduced.
- These letters are only good for a month after the issue date.
- RDMH will only issue one letter.

Pick up and uploading of your background check:
- When your check is ready, you will need to pick it up at the RCMP office, be sure to have your ID that you put on the application with you.
- Coaches and Managers that have RIS Activity Leader (HCR-profile) will need to upload your check under document in your coach/manager profile.
- Treasurers and managers that do not have RIS Activity Leader (HCR-profile), will need to drop off their check to the RDMH office.

Disclosure in Case of Non-Negative Results:
- If the background check returns with any non-negative findings, the individual will need to include a letter of disclosure, which you request at the RCMP office
